Data donation program
Problem statement:
A strategic program with the main goal of data donation by helping patients (members) capture their health data in the most accurate and efficient manner by engaging them to participate in longitudinal data donation. This longitudinal data or PROs (patient reported outcomes) directly adds value to medical research and advancement in medicine.
Primary Users: Patients/ Members.

Challenges:
Legacy incentive program wasn’t scalable.
The new tiers had to be introduced in a manner that would further incentivize existing donors while retaining their already earned points.
Process:
Facilitated an ideation session with stakeholders and cross functional teams to serve as a starting point for generating content blocks. An affinity map was created to arrive at 4 content blocks.
Sketches were generated for each content block and synthesized into 2 main concepts after a dot voting session.
Personas were used to determine how different users would use the module. (For example: A slow moving disease for a patient still figuring out a treatment doesn’t have much data compared to an activated patient whose treatment plan is shifting or has many side effects.
The project was then broken down into phases with an MVP established. The MVP would layer in new content without messing with legacy updates while phase 2 and beyond would introduce updates to legacy.

Design features:
A visual timeline indicating prior participation and what can be done for today and in future (e.g. upcoming studies).
Provides an eco-system of opportunities via prompts on a page when a specific task or action is complete, embedded content and email messaging.
Showing evidence of data reinforcing the impact of their past contributions.
